Plans are ongoing to implement the £500,000 refurbishment of the award-winning Aberdeen Altens Hotel as part of a 40 year anniversary celebration.

Amongst other things, the money will be invested into the food and beverage areas at the luxury hotel.

Inevitably, this will increase the capacity of the dining area with both casual and formal dining spaces on offer.

The wonderful four-star hotel has already spent £80,000 previously on refurbing the gym.

The hotel won the Hotel of the Year category of the 2017 Life With Style Awards.

General Manager Kris Manship said: “Following our gym refurbishment, we are now looking ahead to the next phase of work with excited anticipation.

“The creation of a multi-faceted dining environment will correctly mirror the diversity of our guests and represents a major step- change in our food and beverage offering.”
