The plans for the development of a new hotel in Southampton are set to be given the green light.
BMR Compass are currently looking to secure permission to redevelopment a carpark outside of Compass House.
The plan is for a three-storey hotel boasting 73 rooms and 34 car parking spaces.
Furthermore, the plans for the build were recommended for approval in October. However, it was deferred to allow further observation into the car parking survey results.
Since then, an updated survey has been released which would suggest there is room for parking on roads nearby.
In turn, this has led to councillors recommending the application is granted permission a second time round.
